Make it fit your world.
A clip for your desk. A bracket for your project. A box that fits your electronics. Start with a shared model or simple shapes, change the sizes, and watch your part take shape in 3D.

Build with shapes, not code
Start with a box or cylinder. Add another shape, cut a hole, or repeat a piece. Connect these steps on the canvas and watch the model update beside it. You can build this way without writing code.
- Add, move and combine shapes
- Cut holes and repeat parts

Change the size. Keep the design.
Need the same box a little wider? Give it a width setting and link the lid to it, so both change together. These settings are called parameters: they let you adjust a design without rebuilding it.
- Name useful settings such as width and hole spacing
- Link dimensions so they change together
- Use one design for several sizes
Use parts someone has already worked out
Pick a screw thread, gear or enclosure from the built-in library and set its dimensions. Use it as part of your model instead of building every detail yourself.
- Threads, gears and fasteners
- Snap-fits and flexible hinges
- Enclosures and storage bins
Draw the outline you need
For a custom shape, draw a flat outline and give it thickness to turn it into a 3D part. Add measurements to control its size and keep important edges aligned as you adjust it.
Keep your favourite parts handy
Made a useful hinge or mounting piece? Save it as a component you can use in another project. Its adjustable settings come with it, so you can fit it to the next design. You can use community components this way too.
Try a change. Keep a way back.
Save a version before trying a different shape or size. Compare it with your next attempt, or restore it if you prefer the earlier design. When you share a model, you can return to a published version and build the next one from there.
From your screen to your workbench
Check thin walls and steep overhangs before preparing a print. Download STL or 3MF for your printing workflow. For supported models, STEP export lets you take the design into other CAD and manufacturing tools.
- Check wall thickness and overhangs
- Export STL or 3MF for 3D printing
- Export STEP for further CAD work
